Join us at Lakewood Center for the Arts as Taylor takes us step by step through making our own protection spell-bottles.

Taylor is an artist who has spent over a decade creating magical items and bespoke boxes. Based on the East Coast, Taylor will be joining us via zoom to guide us through the process.

Supplies & refreshments will be furnished, however you are free to bring anything you might want to add to your bottle.

There is ample parking behind the building, in the entrance off Middlecrest. There is a performance that night, but we will be outside to meet you. Our class is located on the upper level of Lakewood in the far classroom at the end of the hall. Turn left when you enter the building from the parking lot.

It’s time we went to Maryhill.

The museum, nestled in the Gorge with incredible views, is full of fine art. It’s also home to a full-scale replica of Stonehenge. Current exhibitions are full of occult mysticism, Jungian symbols, and death.

The featured exhibit- that inspired this year’s themes and plans, is Gammell’s The Hound of Heaven.

We will meet at the front of the museum at noon and see the exhibits before heading to Stonehenge on the way back. If I am able to arrange a tour, I will update this page.  Spend a few hours on the road taking in the fall foliage and return with enlightenment.

Last year we found it: The most sincere pumpkin patch.

Join us for an afternoon of all things harvest! Yesteryear Farms has the best selection of pumpkins, a variety of food carts, mazes, gift stores, and more. We’ll grab lunch, find gigantic pumpkins, and check out their store. If you’d like to do the corn maze, you can save $4 by purchasing tickets in advance on their website.

We will arrive around noon and be there until at least 2pm.

If you would like to carve pumpkins afterwards, we will make that happen! Gathering spot TBA!
